It Was Tuesday Finally On My Brain

It was Tuesday finally on my brain

The pleased day of gaining the day of pay, to end my pocket pain

as the Jiving Jain heading down the street I made the decision to go to the Big Hawk store

I was riding with the same Alvvays band at first having quick pop against the man of the El Cid walk dom of bore.

In the store I switched to Jean Ritchie’s A Capella

and my tuesday errand chore included pepperoni and mozzarella

crackers for and campbell’s homestyle galore too made me a simple purchase fellow

I am what I eat I had a little foodkraft doing

and with my hands and feet I was self check dude’s fast business is booming

and my pin put in for the no debit no cash on their checkout witness screen was again resuming

outside the printer my receipt came printing

my receipt from robot the minter included a food bank gifting

outside the store as sort of a sprinter the treats on my brain had me thinking

and in the cold of the winter with a new eats meet in the back of the store I went sitting

Off came the music of the Dewalt

and my brain with eating fuses looked at all of the pavement lines of the faults

I was finished with the munchies which ruled and was hitting

back to the house became myself with the cold Klein Tool mittens

the back on music became Henry Thomas I had my pan flute with a Texas will guy

I too had the quills and was ready for a chill exercise

10pm after the winter biting finally had me paid

and again typing I went with my rhyming writing trade
